Learn how herbs grow, how to care for them, and how they can be used in everyday life. Participants will pot their own herbs and enjoy a simple tea appreciation experience using plants from the farm.
For school, corporate, and community groups. 1.5 hour session. Sensory farm tour is optional depending on time & budget. 20-40 participants.

Create your own kokedama — a Japanese-inspired moss ball planter — while learning about plant care, soil, roots, and mindful making. Participants will bring home their own living plant arrangement.

Learn how to grow microgreens step by step, including the conditions this superfood needs to thrive. Participants will discover the benefits of microgreens and simple ways to use them in everyday meals.

GROW FOOD

Learn the different stages of traditional soil-based farming, from soil mixing and compost-making to harvesting, building support nets, and transplanting seedlings. Includes a guided Kampung tour.
For primary, secondary, and tertiary school groups. 3.5 hour session. 20–40 participants.
BUILD SOIL

Learn how food waste can be turned into compost and returned to the soil. Participants will go through the composting process hands-on and understand how waste can become a resource for growing food.

MEET THE FARM

A guided sensory farm experience designed for young children. Students explore the farm through sight, touch, smell, and simple hands-on activities such as blue pea harvesting or kangkong planting.
For N1–K2 preschool groups. 1 hour 45 minute in-person session. 20-60 participants.

Take a guided walk through the Kampung and learn about GUI’s story, spaces, farms, community, and approach to sustainable living. A simple way to experience the spirit of the Kampung before or alongside a workshop, with opportunities to explore the farm through sight, smell, touch, and taste. Participants will learn about local plants, herbs, vegetables, and the everyday work behind growing food in an urban farm setting. Programme adapted according to ages within the group. Suitable as a standalone visit or add-on experience.
45 min to 2 hour sessions available, min 20 participants. Friendly for all ages.
CSR/VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
From planting new crops to rescuing food from going to waste via packing/distribution, we also have multiple opportunities for corporate team, schools, and volunteers to make a difference.
Most in-person opportunities require 3 hours and can accommodate groups of 20-40. Tours of our kampung and refreshments available upon request.
